Today Jacob had surgery to put tubes in his ears. He has had about 5 ear infections in 8 months. One took 3 antibiotics to get rid of. Poor baby is always sick. These pictures were prior to the surgery. I knew this was a minor surgery, but couldn't help feeling the fear and anxiety of him going under anesthesia. The nurses all loved him and as it turned out he didn't need the "happy juice" to calm him down because he was already so calm. He actually fell asleep waiting on the doctor and they brought him back and within 10 minutes it was done. The doctor said he did great. He didn't have any bad reactions to the medicine and actually woke up smiling! The nurse was surprised at how happy and relaxed he was when he woke up. He is such a sweet boy. Love him sooooo much!
